VitalCog: Suicide Prevention in Construction

Join TASCH and ABC New Orleans/Bayou for a free VitalCog training on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at TASCH Headquarters, 4321 River Road, Bridge City.

This approximately 90-minute training helps participants recognize possible warning signs, start a conversation about suicide, and connect someone with support. Through videos, group discussion, and guided role play, attendees will practice ways to respond with confidence.

Kelli Mayon is the Membership & Marketing Director for ABC New Orleans/Bayou, a certified VitalCog trainer, and an ABC Mental Health Champion. She works with the construction community to make conversations about mental health more approachable and to help people recognize when a coworker may need support.
